Optional Background / Personality Info

Akio is Aiko’s older (by design) brother. He is a timid, though very clever, young man who loves nothing more than to learn how things work. He is a tinkerer and can is quite good at repairing anything from a steam engine to a laptop computer; the only problem being he rarely repairs anything. Instead, Akio gets curious and takes the object apart entirely, usually putting it back together with strange or disastrous results.

Akio happens to be dead, after being murdered by one of Aiko’s rogue fan derivatives. But whenever he attempts to tell anyone in the family that he’s a ghost, he gets interrupted somehow.

The following Terms of Use apply to all voicebanks in the Kikyuune Family series.

Art, Music and Other Fanworks

Content made with the Kikyuune Family voices may use any artwork created for them by MystSaphyr, or any artwork that is included within the voicebank folders, so long as proper credit for the images is given to MystSaphyr and the use is non-commercial.

The Kikyuune Family art and designs may NOT be traced, edited, recolored, or repurposed for any other characters. Similarly, “pitchloids” or any similar sound-edits created from any Kikyuune Family media are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.

None of the MMD models featured on this website were created by Studio VOXYZ. Users are advised to check their individual terms or readmes.

Commerical vs. “Doujin” Use

There are certain instances in which media made using the Kikyuune Family may sold, and certain instances in which it is strictly forbidden. For clarification, here is a distinction between “doujin” versus “commercial” use:

Doujin (OK)

Physical items that are self-published, printed and sold in limited quantities at single fan-events. These include CDs, books, prints, small trinkets (charms, stickers, etc.), and so on.

Doujin materials are specifically meant more for promotion and fun than for generating income. They do not produce a noticeable profit, as the sales essentially only cover costs of production.

For simplicity’s sake, items produced non-profit for charity also fall under this category.

Commercial (License Required)

Continuous or large-scale reproduction of a product intended to create profit. This includes physical items that are sold at multiple events or locations, or via online print stores such as Redbubble, DeviantART, Cafepress, etc. This also includes sales of digital music — such as that sold through Bandcamp, iTunes and others — as well as YouTube monetization.

“Commercial” works as described are FORBIDDEN without purchase of a commercial-use license.

“Doujin” works as described are acceptable and do not require a license or permission, so long as they conform to the rest of the Terms of Use.

(I’d prefer, however, if you contacted me beforehand just so I can see the project!)

Kikyuune Family voicebanks and/or characters should NOT be used for spreading a political or religious agenda. However, traditional anthems, choruses and chants are fine.

Mature/Obscene Content, etc.

Examples: Wash My Blood, Gomenne Gomenne, Shooting-Star Technica, Gigantic OTN

However, songs that allude to sex and sexuality without using such coarse language or visuals are fine.

It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to make incestuous sexual or romantic media featuring pairings between any of the Kikyuune Family characters.

The Kikyuune Family characters may NOT be depicted in pornograhic/erotic R-18 artwork.

(Excessive violence/gore is discouraged, but not prohibited.)

Keeping the above in mind, please use the Kikyuune Family at your own discretion. If you are still unsure of media content, simply contact Myst.
