Downloads fixed!

So the other day, I was alerted to a 404 error on the Google Drive embed on Aiko’s page. Turns out I’d accidentally deleted my voicebanks folder from Google Drive while doing some cleaning. Whoops!

All my voicebanks are back in Drive where they belong, accessible here.

I’m in the process of revamping the download pages for all VOXYZ voicebanks, starting with Aiko. Each download will now have a brief, basic raw-rendered sample (using moresampler) and banks will be hosted on both Google Drive and Mega.nz. Aiko’s UTAU downloads page is fully updated to the new layout.

In addition, I went through Aiko’s banks and did some housekeeping. Changes include:

  • dropping numbered versions for banks past ACT1-3 (frankly, they’re confusing and obsolete)
  • re-otoing and re-aliasing all old banks prior to CVVC (because why not)
  • removing outdated information from character.txt (though I left in the old art!)
  • including the “Whistle” VB with her CVVC banks, rather than having it be standalone
  • merging the “Omake” folder into CVVC EN since that’s what it originally was recorded for

Her CVVC banks also may have some minor oto tweaks that I’ve done over the years, so it may be beneficial to download the updates!

I’m also currently in the process of editing her Wiki pages and will make a tweet once that is done. Please bear with me!

LipSync, MMD & VCV!

Aiko’s first VCV demo, “Dance! VR Dance!” has been posted to YouTube and NND, and it also features a new LipSync model drawn by chorvaqueen! This is specifically RockLoud (as usual) and contains the same 4 pitches as her CVVC (G3, C4, F4 and A4). The A4 pitch is still missing some sounds, but I am planning to do a private beta test once her oto is complete so I can know what to rerecord when quarantine ends.

In addition, pianomanjojo on YouTube has created an edited TDA model for Aiko! It has excellent physics and 2 different eye types.

SSParty Album Release!

I’m happy to announce that I was invited to participate in SSParty, a vocalsynth album with the theme of different software singing together!

I produced track #2, “Love Rescue” featuring Kanochi Neko and Megurine Luka. It’s a cheesy as all hell story about Aphrodite giving relationship advice to a hopeless kuudere, set to eurobeat, and I’m hoping to be able to make a PV for it in the not-too-distant future!

Please support the album by purchasing it via BOOTH! Please be aware that you will need a Japanese shipping proxy or forwarding service to purchase, and even then the physical album will take a while to ship due to the COVID mail service shutdowns in Japan, but every physical purchase comes with a digital copy for immediate download!

Hanga CYE is released!

Our latest addition to the VOXYZ voicebank roster, Hanga CYE HackCVVC, is officially out!

Many thanks to everyone who joined us for the premiere on YouTube! It was my second time hosting such a thing, and y’all made it a super fun experience! I’ll definitely be doing this from here on out for voicebank and original song releases.

You can view CYE’s details on his page here, and download him under the “UTAU” tab. I’ve also released the UST for “Feel So Moon” which can be downloaded from the cover UST list here!

The next voicebanks planned for release during the quarantine are Chiyoko DRAGON CVVC, Akiko CVVC, Bunko CVVC and Silesia CVVC. Wish me luck!

Miscellaneous updates!

Hey all! A lot has happened through the past couple of weeks, so I’m going to shove it all into one major post. Right now following the Studio VOXYZ Twitter is the best way to keep up with new YT/NND/SoundCloud posts and news snippets, but I’ll try to make a point of posting more detailed updates here on a regular basis!

First things first, as you Twitter followers might already know, I’m participating in a MEIKO compilation album titled “Dark Chocolate and Maraschino Cherry” which is currently hosting a KickStarter project for a physical release. At the time of posting this, we’ve already hit more than twice our initial stretch goal, at an incredible $1500! There’ll be plenty more updates to come, so be sure to follow the project to see song and art progress.

Additionally, my “Evil Food Eater Conchita” cover from last year is up on YouTube and NND! Good to finally have that cover up, as it was my first-ever released UST (from 2009! in romaji! with wrong lyrics!) that I’d fixed up and reposted to SoundCloud last year. People kept hounding me for YEARS to re-release this one. The UST, as usual, is up on the Covers USTs/VSQs page. Enjoy!

I’m also pleased to announce that the USTs and off-vocal for “Retrospectre” are available in the upload descriptions on YouTube, NND, and our new StudioVOXYZ SoundCloud! While I’m not abandoning my personal account (MystSaphyr), it has been relegated to cover, scrap and repost content only. The new SoundCloud account will be for uploading original songs and remixes/arranges, but will also host playlists for Studio VOXYZ voicebank demos. Be sure to give it a follow!

And finally, stay tuned for the annual Ariella and Aiko November 12th birthday duet next week! Mooncrafter and I are working extra hard on it this year!
